More About Our Company

Alison Nurton created Butterfly Bright in 2011 after noticing a gap in the market in Sherborne for fabulous fabrics and gorgeous haberdashery, making and craft supplies.  In 2012 Butterfly Bright moved to the successful home and kitchen shop ‘Home Sweet Home’ in Digby Road, Sherborne where larger premises meant more room for the Making Workshops and classes that were so popular.

Butterfly Bright, now joined by Caroline Bradshaw and a team of expert tutors, offers a unique experience in Sherborne, with home and kitchen accessories by local artisans and international designers; a treasure trove of fabrics, haberdashery & sewing essentials and Making Workshops for all abilities.
