We are getting very excited about Yarn Shop Day!
Whether you’re a crochet expert, novice knitter, or just fancy trying out a new craft,
don’t miss Yarn Shop Day…
On 2nd May 2015, the second annual Yarn Shop Day will take place in knitting and craft stores across the country, and we are thrilled to be one of the many independent stores involved.
At Butterfly Bright we will be having a wide range of free demonstrations and workshops including:
Crochet workshops with LazyDaisyJones
We are really excited that we will be joined by Ashley aka LazyDaisyJones, we love her blog and and we are lucky enough to have her as a tutor at Butterfly Bright. Ashley writes patterns for several magazines including Love Sewing and Inside Crochet and her amazing sewing room was recently featured in the new American magazine Room to Create.
On Yarn Shop Day Ashley will be with us from 11am-1pm and will be teaching how to make crochet flowers. Customers will then be asked to add their creations to a wicker wreath which will be auctioned off for charity.
Knitting workshops with Caroline
Caroline is our in house knitting and crochet expert and has taught nearly 100 people to crochet in the last 2 years! We would love more people to try their hand at knitting and so Caroline is offering some free knitting demonstrations and workshops on Yarn Shop Day. Feel free to pop along and try something new…
