Inspired by the autumn colours of the British countryside you will learn how to create pumpkins, acorns, autumn leaves, fungi, conkers and fox brooches using a beautiful array of wool that can then be transformed into either a garland to give your home that cosy autumn feel or wear as an autumn brooch! A fun, creative and inspiring day. Suitable for all levels of experience from beginners upwards.
No previous experience is needed.
Materials and equipment: the price of the workshop includes all materials.
Tutor: Carla Tarlor is the talent behind The Mousehole Woolery. Carla loves to make contemporary sustainable wool sculptures inspired by the animals and landscape of the British countryside and coastline. She will take you through the processes required to make your very own needle felted items to take home with you.
Carla offers a range of needlefelting workshops with us and regularly adds new ideas and dates so keep an eye on the website for future events.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
There will be a half hour break for lunch so please do bring a packed lunch or you will have time to pop out to one of the many local cafes to buy something.
Please read our workshop T&Cs before booking.
